Mom and Dad Come for a Visit

Missy and Bennet have been enjoying the island for a little while and booked a portrait session to capture some of the memories from his parent's visit. These guys had me laughing the entire time. Bennet definitely gets his sense of humor from his dad. Two lovely ladies + a couple of comedians = one happy family.

Brian & Kendra

Brian, Kendra, and their seriously cute dog only have a little time left in Okinawa. I'm so happy I had the opportunity to photograph them while they are still here. I love that these images show a glimpse of how beautiful, goofy, and in love these two are. I wish you all the best in your new adventure. I am so thankful I've been blessed by knowing you this short time!

"Vintage" Photo Album

I know that this mom loves old movies and tropical island everything. When I looked at these images they were calling out to be black and white with a touch of sepia and a nice thin white border. This gives them the feel of your grandma's vintage photo album - if you had a cool grandma who loved to travel to the tropics!

Morning at Araha

These three make up the cutest family! They are all crazy about each other and they have so much fun together being silly. Just the way it should be. Thanks for making my day!

Krista

I just spent a beautiful morning at the beach photographing the lovely Krista. We had so much fun and I didn't even hear too much complaining about having to climb a cliff in a full length dress! Krista, I love your passion for life, your great fashion sense and your adorable dog Oscar. I think we should really do this more often.

The Barefoot Bride and Groom

I feel honored that I was able to be a part of your very special day. I don't often cry at weddings that I'm photographing but this one really touched me. It was wonderful to see your community of friends and "family" gather around you to worship and celebrate your marriage. Congratulations Jessy and Joe!

Jessy and Joe are Engaged!

This shoot was originally booked as a standard portrait session. Then Jessy called to tell me these would be engagement photos! I am so excited for them. I got to watch the video of Joe popping the question and it was very sweet. The wedding is just around the corner so check back for wedding pictures next month. Congratulations you two!

Cherry Blossoms

I had just a few hours to visit Nago Park and see the amazing cherry blossoms in the beginning of bloom. It's so amazing to be in Okinawa in the spring and a little odd that for some reason, spring is in early February. You won't find me complaining! I do hope to go back when I have a little more time...
